About the event
Despite the common belief that children “don’t see race,” research shows that racial awareness starts as young as three months old. It's never too early to begin having open conversations with your child about race. We will share strategies and resources that will help us feel more equipped to talk about race with the children in our lives. This workshop is designed for parents, caregivers and educators of children ages 0-6.
The workshop is led by Isabel Cruz, an early childhood educator and diversity and inclusion consultant (Kaleidoscope Education Consulting).
*Please note that the event space is upstairs and there is no lift/elevator at OT301.
