How to Talk to Your Kids About Race

Despite the common belief that children “don’t see race,” research shows that racial awareness starts as young as three months old. It's never too early to begin having open conversations with your child about race. This workshop is geared towards parents of children ages 0-5.

About the event

Despite the common belief that children “don’t see race,” research shows  that racial awareness starts as young as three months old. It's never  too early to begin having open conversations with your child about race.  We will share strategies and resources that will help us feel more  equipped to talk about race with the children in our lives. The workshop is led by Isabel Cruz, an early childhood educator and diversity and inclusion consultant (Kaleidoscope Education Consulting).
